What's one of the most popular reasons for dining out?

Not cleaning up.

We love to cook at home, but I hate cleaning up afterwards. I'd pay someone to do it. It's unfortnate that most urban home kitchens aren't built for serious cooking. It's well known that eating home cooked food is much cheaper and healthier than eating out. Wouldn't it be nice if you could go to a nearby restaurant, only it's not a restaurant because there's no cooking or serving staff, only dishwashers and table cleaners.

It's a place you can hang out with your friends and socialize while cooking and eating. A typical visit would go something like this:

1. You bring your groceries from a nearby market.2. You go to the next available cooking stall in the kitchen area. It was just cleaned up and all the utensils, pots and pans were returned to their usual place.3. You prepare your own delicious healthy meal. You know what's going in it because you bought it. Not sure what to prepare? Grab a book or select a cooking show from the library provided.4. Socialize with other guests, your friends, or not. It's up to you.5. Take your meal to the dining area. Don't forget to indicate that your kitchen stall is ready to be cleaned for the next guest. Your table has already been cleaned up after the previous guests.6. Bon apetit. The establishment is unlicensed, but you brought your own wine or beer if that's what you like.7. Check out. You pay for the time you spent, unless you have an unlimited use monthly pass.8. Optional: frequent guests may keep leftover food in a rented space in the fridge/freezer.

I'm not sure that there's a market for this. If you can't afford a dishwasher and can't afford to eat out, you probably can't afford to pay someone else to wash your dishes, either.

You can rent a residential suite that has a kitchen ready to mess up. There is even a bed if the party gets advanced.

Try a Mongolian Barbecue. At ours, you put everything you want from a wide array that's offered including meat, veggies, pasta, in a bowl. You add seasonings and cooking oil or sauces, they they cook it for you on a big griddle, and serve it with rice and tortillias. YUM.

This is a nice idea for people who like to exercise their skills in a specialized area. In general the social trend is to discourage people from exercising private skills by sales of packaged precooked meals (which invariably are inferior to freshly prepared food). But the idea should be expanded to other areas where people can do carpentry, model work, sculpture and painting, assembly and testing of computers and other electrical equipment and the exercise of other skills which have been sadly discouraged by the rise of the couch potato life.

I think that in order to make this a profitable business one would have to charge very high fees, and anyone who could afford to pay the fees on any kind of a regular basis could probably afford to build their own gourmet kitchen and hire someone to do the clean up work.
