When I am baking I get the cakes ready for baking and turn on the oven to reach the proper temperature but have to keep looking back in the kitchen to see if the temperature has been reached. It would be helpful if, when the ready light indicator goes off, the oven would beep so I could hear it from another part of my apartment and then put the food in to bake. Since the oven sometimes goes on and off to regulate the temperature it would probably be a good idea to to be able to turn the beeper off once the oven is occupied. It could then be turned on again automatically when the oven became cold and ready for another session at another time.

ummm, my oven already does that.
It's good to discover that this idea is useful and present in rare appliances. It does not exist in all the many stoves I have encountered.
It won't cost much, but manufacturers probably don't care to incur the minimal cost.
I might have missed something in the original message, but from the description every oven I've ever owned does this. It beeps when the temperature is reached and doesn't beep again when it cycles unless something unusual has happened such as I've had the door open for longer than I should and the temperature has dropped significantly.
Ours does this whenever temperature or the timer has been reached. The trick is getting it to shut up.
