Many urbanites are highly schedulized, leaving for work at the same time every day, then leaving from work to head home at the same time every day. It is not always possible to use command start from your office.

Would there be a market for programmable command start so all those office workers could get into a warm car in the winter or a cool car in the summer? (assuming the added cost in gas and cost to the environment are a price the average consumer is willing to pay for a few minutes of comfort)

It would of course need an override, and could not be used in parking garages and so on, but it may still have a market.
