How does your suggestion differ from the standard computer graphic tablet?
You couln use it on this site.
They could implement that with Flash. Or (I tried this,) you can post a graphic to a free server like geocities and put a link to it here.
I like the idea, though, because a picture's so much better for describing mechanical stuff.

MS Word has a Draw feature that allows one to scribble, and to edit ones scribbles. It can also insert standard shapes that you can modify, text boxes, etc. It's great once you get the hang of it. (But it is by far the most annoying feature you've ever encountered until you do.) I suggest people fool around with it. It's great for annotating images. Go to View and click Toolbars, then click on Draw.
