What kind of moron are you thats invasion of privacy!

A lot of countrys have now banned people from using hand held cell phones in cars, the UK for one, as using these things makes people drive worse than if they have had a few drinks.

It's pretty obvious when you encounter someone using a phone in their car, they are weaving all over the road and going very slowly but for people who can't pick up on these danger signals then maybe the hazard warning light would be a good idea.

It might be better to have a device which prevents the phone being used by the driver when the engine was running but how would you implement this when it is perfectly legal for passengers travelling in the car to use their cell phones? it would stop them from making calls and what would stop the hazard lights being flashed when a passenger made a call? under most circumstances a passengers call would not have any great effect on the drivers performance so you would be sending a warning signal to other road users about a non existant hazard.

Duh!!! You loose all expectations of privacy when you operate a motor vehicle as well as the passengers .Speaking of Morons .It is You with your mobil crowd killer that is the problem . We all seen the type .Left lane "blue darters" with the rt elbow slouch hogging the passing lane with no clue what the rear view mirror is there for. It ain`t cool pal .There should be a ramming law. it's cool.. coz it could help avoid accidents.. it warns the other drivers to stay away from that vehicle. ;P
