smudges on my pda screen | |||||||||||||||||
I have a pda/phone combo (the iPaq h6315, if you must know). On all the pda's I see the phone has two speakers: one on the front and one on the back. The one on the back functions as a system speaker, while the front speaker is a phone speaker. Unfortunately my screen gets dirty from my cheek rubbing against it as listen to the front phone speaker. All companies seem to not see the obvious fix. The speaker for the phone should either be moved to the back, or the back speaker should be usable with the phone. This would keep the screen cleaner, and cleaner means fewer scratches on the screen. Fewer scratches and a cleaner screen is good.

It's called speakerphone
i like the idea of decreasing smudges on the screen, but the reason for not arranging the phone this way is privacy, during conversations, the screen displays the person you are calling, and other information about your call, if the screen points outward, you are displaying this info right at eyelevel to everyone around you, which is not always appealing
