So this isn't MY idea, but I thought that it was a perfect example of this 'why not' approach.

Someone has created a little device that stops the seat in front of you from reclining while you are traveling on a plane. I am a short person, so I don't mind 'the recliners', BUT I also understand the plight of the tall people out there who end up squished by those of us desperately trying to get comfortable in Coach.
