You know those trash bins that you can attach at the head rest of the car seats in front? Why not attach it to the seats of the movie theather so that the maintenance crew won't have to go around the movie theather and pick up the soda cans, bags of popcorns, and others. I think this idea would be a big help to them. All they have to do is collect the trash from the attached trash bin and place it in a big garbage bag. With this, we were able to save them the agony of stooping down on the floor to pick up the trash.

As a former movie theater worker, it's much easier to sweep an entire aisle down in one sweep rather than attend to each seat individually. The main problem we deal with are wet spills (especially on the seats themselves) and dry ones which cannot be reached due to the seat design. I personally don't trust any group of people to keep the cleanliness of the theater in mind. Finding a way to centralize trash collection without the intervention of theater staff would be more useful.
Theatres are starting to use leaf blowers. You can blast 4-5 rows in one swipe. As for the garbage bins, I think it would add to the work (over sweeping). If we could get people to take there garbage to the bin near the exit when they leave, this would solve a lot.
The fundamental problem with your idea is that it relies on conscientious and considerate behaviour from people who have already demonstrated that they do not have those qualities (by not using the existing trash bins.)
