whynot make shoes that does not make any sound no matter what surface you are walking on. this is great for combat and warfare and any other spying business. although it might have a slight advantage for those who will use it to rob houses or something.

You can't make a shoe that is silent on all surfaces. If you can design a shoe that is silent on dry leaves, brittle sticks, or the damn creaky hardwood floor of my apartment, I would love to see it.
