Loose to Gain? | |||||||||||||||||
When i was looking at some kids in the park. I realize something in order for people to gain something they have to sacrifice or to loose something. Ex. A person that is always staying in his/her "comfort zone" would not be able to gain something because he/she has been staying within the safety bubble. But if that person would sacrice that comfort zone he/she would gain more knowledge. Would this be applicable to our daily life and decisions?

In other words, you've got to take chances to win. A product of the loose mind.
Everything is about risking..maybe we might not be too aware of it but it is always like that in my own experience. It is not wrong to stay in our " comfort zone" or within our safety bubbles becasuse withing that vicinity we are able to think properly because we are at ease with our setting however we have to step out to try our ideas and to test our assumptions. As you said, we need to sacrifice once in a while..It doesnt really hurt.
The generality that it takes risk to gain is much too vague to be taken seriously as a general operating principle by itself. All of life is an experience in learning which risks are worth taking and which can lead to disaster. All risks worth taking must be very carefully calculated.
