we could get rid of the old locks and install a finger print or voice security for cars. people have found different methods in cracking car locks and alarms that makes it worthless. it is easy to copy a persons fingerprint we see that in spy movies but i dont think car thieves has the technology to copy a persons voice. the sensor will be in the car so that it will not be tampered by any person outside. the system can be programmed so that it can recognize people who are authorized to use the car. it can also be another security measure for children and teenagers who drives off with their parent's car.

I have seen so many parked cars with smashed windows that I strongly doubt that thieves intent on stealing a car would fool around with trying to outwit a sophisticated locking device when simple brute force is quite effective.

not here maybe ur living in afghanistan or Iraq, sand.. for years, futuristic cars have been designed by multi-billion dollar companies, maybe by including this software or hardware, could save another man's lyf..the search of new field and new knowledge is there. You just cant say that a simple brute force would stop a man from thinking of a better idea.

I don't know where "here" is for you, br. My experience is of northern Manhattan in New York City where a walk any morning revealed automobile window glass particles all over the street from the smashed windows of parked cars that were broken into.
