Hypnotherapy.I'm a hypnotherapist and have a lot of stressed clients. I teach them relaxation techniques having found the source of the stress and dealt with it.Stress is a real killer - it can activate dormant cancer cells and cause all sorts of body problems (stomach ulcers, headaches, high blood pressure etc.).
So find a good stress therapist but if you can't....- Make time for yourself- Talk through all problems with a mate- Discover relaxing music and candles- Keep off coffee and alcohol- See the best in situations first, be positive- Do 10 things a day that touch your heart
oh... and be nice to cancer sufferers - heaven forbid, but you might turn into one!
I am sorry to hear of your stressful work. Too, I am sorry you are not getting much feedback here either.
When I feel overwhelmed my best solution (for me) is to schedule "alone time" --I have to schedule it as a high priority item or everything else will try to edge it off my schedule.
Try taking time every day (30 minutes) where you are all alone, free of all distractions. Then, as best you can, avoid all thoughts that become negative. If this is difficult you may need to take a class in meditation.
Also, re-assess your priorities. Could a lesser paying job give you more for your valuable time and peace of mind?
