Mobile phone | |||||||||||||||||
Anybody ever thought of a mobile phone with an in-built memory card of say 256 Mb with USB connection for downloading from PC. This would enable us to retrieve data by hooking your handphone to another PC or by using the handphone to download data to the overhead projector for presentation without a PC.

They've been available in Japan with memory sticks, like in digital cameras for a couple of years now. If you have a computer that accepts the memory sticks you can directly update. Bluetooth technology now allows you to wirelessly transmit information between bluetooth enabled handsets and other systems.
Apparently in mobile technology Europe is two years behind Japan,and the US is three years behind Europe. And the systems are basically incompatible. Genius.
