There is no amusement category so I placed this in Sports.Once the space elevator gets going it should be possible to launch globe circling capsules at minimum energy output. People are willing to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars today for a short sub-orbital flight. It should be easy to send people on orbital flights from the top of the elevator and if such flights are offered now it might defray some of the expense of designing and creating the elevator. Balloon suspended sections of about a mile high have so far been successful so it still looks possible.

I think this would be fun especially to those who have been dreaming to take a trip to space. However, yah..it will cost a lot to set that up and of course it will cost a lot to ride on it. Its safety measures will have to be really checked and double checked to eliminate possible accidents.

This is the most inane idea in all of cyberspace. First of all your idea title, where exactly is the wheel in this? Globe circling capsules—why don't you just call them satellites instead of creating your own jargon? A little high and mighty are we?

Please, when you’re ready to submit a plausible, thought out and well presented idea please do so. Otherwise, keep to yourself.

You describe yourself as a genius. But all you seem to display is a rather short tempered intolerance of an admittedly wild suggestion. I have never come across a genius before but the ones I have heard about display some sort of interesting capability. Do you have any interesting capability?
