moderate the teachers | |||||||||||||||||
We have heard or probably experience first hand a teacher/professor who had committed a mistake in class but is too prideful to admit. If we had cameras in all classrooms we can stop these teachers from being arrogant. The administration can also benefit by watching over the students.

I'm sure home security would like to inhibit teachers to make sure they're toeing the current line.
Cameras are a bit of an overkill. People just need to understand to be more upfront with their professors. In college, you are paying good money to be there and if a professor makes a mistake that negatively affects you, you should stand up for yourself and let the professor know about it. I've seen too many people grumble to their classmates about bad professors and think up extreme ways to fix such things without first talking to the professor (outside of the classroom setting) to remedy the problem. If more people did this, the arrogance levels of many professors would be kept in check.
Not a bad idea, but I voted against. In order to catch a teacher in the act of arrogantly ignoring their own mistakes, you have to pay someone who knows the subject matter to watch the monitors. In the case of advanced college courses, this would be a pretty specialized job... and specialists are expensive.
Cameras would probably be more useful in preventing students from misbehaving, disrupting classes, etc. The real, ultimate answer to this will be the replacement of live teachers with computerized systems which have no pride, but infinite patience. (They could be programmed to answer a question many different ways.)
