I find it rather difficult to manoeuvre my baby pram whenever I have to bring my baby around on one. How about a motorized pram that runs on miniature batteries with in-built hydraulic rams for going over obstacles and directional functions.

Like a self-propelled lawn mower... except with an infant in place of the huge, gyrating blade. I make this association only because motorized lawn mowers have a safety switch that stops the engine if you let go of the handle. Obviously a safety mechanism like this should be used in a motorized pram. This leads to another idea, in which the pram cannot move unless pressure is applied to the handle. This way, if you were to lose your grip, the wheels would immediately lock up, eliminating the runaway baby problem. I hope something like this already exists.

We think alike. I had this idea for years now and have made some surveys too. I am living in Norway and here I see lot of people struggling to push the pram on heavy cushions of snow. On top of that Norway is hilly country with slopy terrain, this makes for the parents even worse. Think of the health problems! back aches, bad spines, knee problems, respiratory problems, muscle problems and so on.Would also protect the pram from traffic accidents by using indicators and blinking lights on the sides of pram.Read my other suggestions on < recent entries>.
