Electric shavers | |||||||||||||||||
Today electric shavers are designed with a close shaving head at the front and a supplementary clipper that can pop out for longer hair. If the clipper were designed to precede the close shaving head instead as a supplement the clipper could cut down longer hairs that are too long for the close cutting shaving head and then the following shaver head would complete the operation. If only the clipper was desired, the angle of attack could be changed to merely clip hair and not shave.

Sand, what a great idea!
That's a good idea, though if you shave daily it isn't really necessary.
You've given me the idea for using the clipper gadget first when I haven't shaved for several days. It's tedious to use the regular shaver on a heavy growth, because it's designed to just cut a short length of hair--i.e., the tip only. Thanks!
