I think many people would have some useless old CD's lying around their home or stockrooms that doesn't really have any use at all! Why not have a campaign to collect old CDs and recycle them in variuos ways. I found that there are many articles online teaching people how to recycle old CDs and recently, I myself made an earring holder using old CDs, it is very inexpensive and not too hard to make. I'm sure there are still lots of things you can do to old CDs..of course, one is to make use of them as ornaments, or designs..^.^

If the CD's are hung as a mobile beneath tiny spotlites they reflect rainbow patterns on the ceiling as they bobble about.

If nothing else CDs can go into the plastics recycling. I have seen a few hung from trees as ornaments, but too many CDs dangling from trees would not be so nice.
use as mirrors in solar power facility?
