I am an Electrical Engg student of India.I heard that there are about 7000 lightning strokes occuring all around the world.Also I studied that Capacitor & Inductor can store electrical energy.Then is it possible to use an LC parallel combination ckt to store electrical energy from lightning if necessary materials are available.Also i want to know that whether these materials are available and bear/withstand such high voltage and current. The main question is that whether we can use LC parallel ckt to store energy in the range of many Kwh or Mwh. Is it practical?
