In basketball, I've never understood why players are allowed to call timeouts while in the air and falling out of bounds. Regardless if the ball is in their hands, they are NOT in control of their bodies. To me it would be like allowing football players to catch a ball while in the air jumping out of bounds (not allowed). It should be required that both feet end up in bounds to prove the player has control. You see it happen all the time and it should not be allowed.
