I have always hated plugging anything into the back of a computer because it is so hard to see back there and generally, it is also dark, too.My mother was having a hard time with plugging stuff into the the back of her new computer.

So she told me what was needed were lights in the back of the CPU.

In short, near every socket, have a corresponding LED of a certain color near each socket, as the sockets are already color-coded (IE: Green for mouse, blue for monitor, purple for the keyboard...)

Either that, or a larger light just to light up the entire back when switched on, a flourescent light, running across the top.

Hi, I agree. But in my opinion, there is another way around this problem. Why dont we have all the ports in the front or side of the CPU, or somewhere it can be easily accessible. What do you think?

You could try one of those USB notebook lights, which are flexible enough to use behind a computer. This does, however, tie up an available port.
