Hi,Many a times it happens that people place there cell phones/laptops on a desk or table.And forget to pick it up while leaving. And later one recalls that he forgot his laptop/cell phone out there.Based on that I was thinking if there can be a small gadget kind of thing which has two components out of which once you can wear on your wrist and the other is sticked to the expensive item.And if you go away from your expensive item within a certain distance the gadget on the wrist starts beeping to indicate that you are moving far away from your laptop. What kind of technologies can be involved in making such a thing and which also keep the development cost really low.

I realize that the specializaton of it can be, that your one single gadget on the wrist is connected to a multiple of items, and it also shows you GPS location of your expensive items etc. But I guess that would require a lot of development on the wrist gadget.
