With the windows open driving on the highway it is difficult to hear the radio with any clarity. As when there is a really interesting discussion on the radio but you don't want to shut all the windows and turn on the AC. Since a driver can't wear headphones (unsafe) why not small speakers in the headrest. Driver would still be able to hear ambient sound for safety. Would need separate headrest volume control for when teenagers commandeer the radio.
