Very easy to implement:

By day, a colored flag or other device to make your car distinct from other cars on the road so your followers can see you. By night, a low-intensity, yet cleanly visible colored light (combination). While you could go about installing these on cars, you could improvise one right now, before anyone thinks about patenting it.

Right now. Leave your computer on standby, call up a friend or neighbor, and find something that works. Bring me a mug of coffee and a cinnamon roll.
