There is genuine moral concern amongst a sector of American citizens that all viable embryos are, in effect, human beings and they should not be destroyed in the process of stem cell research. Although many other people do not think embryos qualify as equivalent to post birth humans, this is obviously a matter of personal values and those concerned to preserve the embryos should be accommodated. Aside from stem cell research, many embryos are routinely discarded in the now standard accepted in vitro fertilization procedure since there are frequently more embryos than can be utilized. But it would be expensive to maintain the many embryos now discarded and those not concerned about preserving them should not be penalized to support their indefinite preservation.
Therefore those people who strongly believe in preserving these embryos should be offered the alternative to take possession of the normally rejected embryos and permitted to preserve them at their own expense. Surely their beliefs would encourage them to create facilities at the expense of their specific communities and to house these embryos indefinitely and satisfy their moral inclinations.

Great idea, the "killer" invention would be the device that explains this concept to the opposed masses in a way they could comprehend it.
Sounds like a libertarian approach. Unfortunately religion based people usually feel a need to force everybody into line with them.
Idk...I believe in god and creation and all that but i also believe that the subject of stem cell research is one of the most curious and interesting ones yet. Although, the idea of recreating human beings may be a topic best left alone as it seems a very...delicate one.
