Wireless Cell Charger | |||||||||||||||||
I have a cell phone just like a lot of US residents. I have to charge it about every 2 or 3 days. Sometimes I forget where I put it and its a hassel going thru every outlet in the house. Also after a long day Im to tired to go find it and plug my phone in. I think it would be a good idea to be able to charge your phone wirelessy. So if the phone is with in 100 ft of the pluged in charger it will charge wirelessly. All you have to do is put it on your dreeser.

"wireless" electricity, at that distance jst doesn't work, at least safely and efficiently.
Now if you go and place it the same location each night, what could be possible is an inductive field charger, which a coil embedded in a pad you set the phone on creates a field picked up by a coil in the phone, or get in the habit of charging the phone in the same place, so the charger will be there.
Of course the simplest solution is to keep your charger in the same place, perhaps near your bed, so you merely plug it in every night as you go to sleep and unplug it when you arise.
That's about as bad as someone on another forum asking what 'code' to punch into his phone to recharge it...
Hi there , Impossible is nothing, watch this story http://web.mit.edu/newsoffice/2007/wireless-0607.html

All i can say is this ideology of wireless energy is hundreds of years old. In fact Nikola Tesla originated the idea a while back. I do agree with the author, it would definitely be great to have a wireless charger. It is possible to transfer energy effectively and safely over significant distances by taking advantage of the properties of the atmosphere around us. But for now wouldn't it be great to take advantage of the far more feasible inductive charging technology we currently find in our electric toothbrushes? (although i must say i dont have one). By replicating that on the surface of Brians table at home, simply placing the phone on a charging "zone" or pad would be great . I mean the hastle of finding the cable and plugging it in, i have found, is annoying. For instance the connections on my sony ericsson charger are always faulty. Additionally the potential universality of such a device would enable multiple compatible devices to be charged simultaneously. Just picture being able to empty your pockets in the evening onto a pad or charging "zone" in the evening! Are you convinced...?
