The “A-List” membership would give the average Joe/Jane, with enough money, the ability to pass through the line and skip the velvet rope of the most prestigious clubs and restaurants.

As many such clubs and restaurants already allow this service to “A-List” celebrities or to those who offer enough cash at the door, this would give the ordinary patron the ability to impress friends or colleges without the sometimes embarrassing denial of entry or need to pull out cash at the door to bribe the attendant.

The monthly/quarterly/annual membership fee could serve as the base level, perhaps only giving VIP entrance to average clubs/restaurants while the more elite spots would also charge a significant premium per use, as set by the respective club/restaurant, in addition to the monthly fee to provide incentive to the club/restaurant to participate in the program and to prevent overuse.
