Lactic acid neitralizer | |||||||||||||||||
A drug or chemical that woudl covert excess lactic acid in the body into something neutral/easily flushed. Good for avoiding aches and pains and for uncramping muscle knots. Would also allow running longer without fatigue.

Try taking a cup of water and baking soda to get rid of the acid--go somewhere alone and get rid of the gas--
I think modern science has determined that it's really not the lactic acid that causes the aches and pains after strenuous exercise. It's the water that seeps into the small tears that occur when you are building muscles that cause the swelling & pain. Massage therapy has been shown to be useful in helping this fluid to be redistributed. I wish I could remember where I read that. (I know it wasn't a massage parlor site. . . I think it was a column by Cecil Adams.)
