Instead of requiring a LCD or CRT screen for a computer display, is it possible to input/output completely through air? I imagine something like the whole contents of the screen are being projected onto the air in front of me and it looks and feels just like a regular LCD screen but it doesnt physically exist. I can touch it with my finger directly in any part of the screen and the mouse moves there. Is that possible?
