Why doesnt the website include a link to edit your comment once it has been posted, I have posted one or two comments on this side that I wouldnt mind editing. One of which was for clarity, another was because of a mistake. This seems only logical to me, whaddya think? -JM

Good example for editing is this post. Somehow my original title got messed up it was: A "why not" for "Why Not?".... wish i could edit that too.. LOL
The text box parser is very particular about the tags being lowercase, rather than uppercase.
I would rather have my messages archived and I can put up an updated message for people to view. That way, everyone can look on the dates of archived messages and discover if the authors of the idea and messages changed their context.
If I propose an idea and make a dreadful error that makes myself look bad, and others correct me with good intentions, then I go change my idea accordingly, then the others look like they don't know what they are talking about.I think a wholely different message system should be looked at in detail.
You should have an hour or two to make a correction before your text is frozen. That's the way the Invision forum software works. (The administrator sets the time limit.) That way, the subsequent comment stream can't be rendered irrelevant, except in rare cases.
