Id love to pay 1000 to get 300 mpg

You need to look for grants the government has out there for developments just like this. I know they are offering up to $20 million dollars to the individual or group that can develop this, bring it to market and have consumers except it. I can't remember the details but it was set up somewhat like the X Prize... where the first folks that could privately build a space vehicle would get $10 million. I know it is out there you just need to find it. Spend some time googling around the web. I know it is out there.

If you really can get 300 mpg, without any other energy source, am sure you find backers. I would be willing to back the idea.
But, I am a bit skeptical; would not 300mpg require > 100% energy conversion?

This sounds terribly like something that belongs on HalfBakery. All the information I'm looking at points at bicycles as the 300mpg king, though they wouldn't say what the gallon consists of.

In any case, cars are becoming more and more disposable these days. Anything claiming more than 100mpg probably belongs in a new build.

You can get a pretty good horse for $1000.

How can you say the motor gets 300mpg? MPG depends on a lot of things other than the motor...
