Sometimes you just wanna sleep on the couch and relax. You dont want to listen to the actual words the people are saying just the backround music. I think that there should be a way to mute words but not backround music on TVs.

It seems to me rather odd that anyone would decide to sleep to TV. There are plenty of music sources on the radio or other non-visual media for that.
This would be a lot of work for something that you could just pull up on another station. Further, a lot of shows don't have any back round music going on.
Theres Digital cable or even satellite that already has like 100 or so music only channels, no visuals, just music, selectable by genre.
