Flashlight ring | |||||||||||||||||
Recently a large number of tiny flashlights using LEDs and powered by small wafer batteries and attached to key rings have hit the market. I have found them useful but would like a similar smaller unit in the form of a ring to be worn on my forefinger and activated by thumb pressure. This would be more convenient and less likely to be forgotten.

Novel. If done correctly you could get the younger population wearing this as a fashion statement while us more utility driven individuals would have a nice new gadget to sport on our pointer finger.
They sell these at Walmart.
You might be able to add infrared remote control features to the ring. Like a security entry device, controlling the tv, ... You could program the functions of the ring through the infrared port of a computer or PDA so no observable port would be required.
