Ebay database | |||||||||||||||||
Why cant Ebay be able to email me an excel sheet of my favorite searches rather than an html email, or give me a download link for a zipped database (access mysql etc) so I can query the database easier to find what I want? > Select Name from Products Where Price < 50 and Price > 100 and Seller_Rating>3is easier to do in my database than on ebay site directly (navigation 50 items per page is annoying and time consuming)

I wonder about the server "costs", i.e. how much more data has to be transferred to interact through SQL or spreadsheets rather than HTML. They already have to generate millions of HTML pages a minute.
