Channel Signs | |||||||||||||||||
Some channels have there own signs at the bottom corners of the television. Like CNN FOX and CBS. To me this sign the channel created is annoying. People should be able to remove this sign from there TV. So they wouldnt have to see it on the TV all the time.

If this is your main problem with the quality of TV you are in real trouble.
I never said it was my main problem i just think its annoying
I have often wondered why this was there. As it turns out many stations placed this so that their material could retain copywrite so I doubt it will be going away any time soon.
This is reasonable. Just like closed captioning, a list of options should be displayed via your VCR or Television to allow you to change those features.
But unfortunately, the source of those logos are usually part of the broadcast, so you do not have anything to extract those features unless you have a computer specifically set up to modify the video stream.
I would suggest that future VCRs, DVRs, Cable Boxes, and Cable Ready TVs, have options that you can select to control the content of what you see. I know Cable Boxes already have some of these features.
But if the broadcast company wants you to see their logo, other than cutting off that part of the picture you can't do much about it.
