How many people are annoyed because when you search for something ebay produces tons of results and in order to view one item you have to click on the item view its page bid on it and then return to the search results page to view more items? Why cant I just "check off" items that I would like to view into a "Interested in... " list then all the URL bookmarks of items are saved in my ebay so I can return to the list later and view one by one?

You need web browser that supportts tabbed browsing, such as Firefox. Then you middle click on the item, and it will open in a tab which you can click on and view.
Don't you use the watch list? It's the link that says Watch this item, sending a link to the item to your My eBay page.
You can "add an item to watch list" from the item page, not the search results page.. It is this "clicking through to the search results page" that we are trying to eliminate, by directly allowing the user to add items to the watch list from the search results page itself.
