Dental floss | |||||||||||||||||
I have discovered that normal single stranded dental floss slides through with limited capability for yaking out material caught between teeth. By doubling the strands and slightly twisting the two strands there is a much enhanced capability for grabbing material and removing it. If floss came with twisted double strands it would be much enhanced.

Yaking is a nice descriptive term but unfortunately it is a typo of taking.
Sounds like it will work. I will try it out tonight. I have always thought dental floss was one of the most wasted resource around as you pull out a foot and a half but only use about two inches. I have also wondered if floss would be improved if it had knots in it to pull out stuborn particles caught between your teeth.
I tried this out last night and ran into a problem... I couldn't get the dental floss between my teeth when it was doubled up.
Johnson & Johnson makes a braided floss for you big gapped tooth people.
