Frequent Flyer miles for time | |||||||||||||||||
How about getting a few extra miles for showing up early at the airport before flights. The airports, not the airlines, could give customers frequent flyer miles for showing up extra early. Thus using more of the restaurants and shops before a flight. And for any purchases made at the airport. One mile per dollar spent, and one mile for each minute arriving earlier than one hour of the departing flight.

This is a great idea! Airlines should use a little positive reinforcement. Other things that may be reinforced through mileage:- Fewer carry-ons- Fewer checked bags- Using check-in kiosks
Additionally, attendants should have some discretionary points for each flight which can be awarded for:- Good behavior- Well behaved children- Keeping your seat upright for the full flight
