Drug house remover | |||||||||||||||||
Park a police car outside known drug houses. Customers would not stop. No business. They move away. Easy. Cheap. Effective.

I’m curious what people don’t like about this idea? Seems like a no brainer.
Perhaps those who voted against it dont want to keep following their usual drug houses around...
However, parking a police car out front with no cop in it would only invite said police car to be vandalized then stolen, used to commission other crimes, then destroyed. Put a cop in it 24/7 and he'll either be shot, or will cost too much to the taxpayers to be effective... patrons of the drug house would just go around back.
the simplest drug house remover is to legallize the supply and then no customers will come to dodgey-the-dealer, rather they'll frequent piggly-wiggly or save-on drugs or wherever they buy their legal supplies. Then people who do drugs will not be a menace, nor will their suppliers... and we can fire the stupid police and sell the cars and keep the extra tax revenue.
This modification on your idea will actually work as well as cutting drugs related crime and all the things you infer in your stereotype of "drug house". The problem is in criminalization, not in more police invasiveness. The idea you present is similar to 50 years of failed drugs war spending that escalates every year with worse and worse results in terms of addiction, violence and social disruption. To solve a problem, do not use the same state of mind that created it... as your idea stems from, you might as well be a stupid nixon drugs warrior in 1971... but you sure ain't gonna solve any real problem.
Unfortunately, the only thing that would occur here is that the drug sellers and buyers would move away...they would just move some place else. This does not stop the problem, it merely moves the problem.
Better idea would be to legalize drugs. No cop car, no cop, no tax payers money wasted. Learn from liberal countries like Netherlands. Look at how drug use has dropped after legalization. Remember what prohibition did to this country years ago.
yeah - legalize drugs - that'll solve the problem - NOT!the crack heads will not be able to earn a decent wage to buy their drugs from a shop so will still commit crime to feed their habit. or do you all think that they will be reformed characters contributing to society? they will still be low-life scum who mug you or steal you tv to pay for their habit. yhe only real deterent to any crime is the knowledge that you will be apprehended and you will pay the price.
Just to support other arguments against given above. The idea stinks! Just ban the ban!
Maybe it would work better than putting up banners in your window that say "NO DRUG HOUSE" everytime the place is for rent.
Do I think that crack addicts can reform and contribute to society? It happens everyday. Case in point, Academy Award Nominee Samuel L. Jackson. The best drug house remover is for it all to be legalized. A dank drug house serving home made drugs could never compete with pre-packaged, quality-tested product sold in bright, fancy chain stores. I think this happened with alcohol sometime early in the 20th century. I know I don't have any speakeasies in my neighborhood.
Lets see if a cop parks a car outside of a drug house, the owner would A: Destroy the carB: Kill the copC: Steal the carD: All of the above
Sorry but it is just a little too simple, I would have to go with the legalise theory.
Drug house remover to me is a D9 Cat or Abrams tank, with the drug dealers still inside of the house!
The fake War on Drugs is a self perpetuating scam that takes my money and gives it to DEA agents, etc, so they can live the good life and get a nice fat pension. I get nothing in return. People in my neighborhood are not interested in narcotic drugs, legal or otherwise.
The general idea behind this suggestion has already been tried many times by police around the country. A variation on the idea is to run a sting with a fake drug house, and arrest people who come to buy. That doesn't work either.
the whole idea behind a (known drug house)is so the cops can stop people and get free cars,free money.this is a kind of extortion, the cops let em sell and then go collect their payoff to share back at the station with the others! mutualy benificial?
