With micro cctv technology, won't it be nice to have cctv systems positioned in the four corners of the car, and inside, to play back how a car crash happened? One could also have sound recording to note the drivers comments, or frame of mind. With such advanced electronics in cars today, I'm surprised that such technology does not exist. When an airbag is deployed electronically, a signal could be sent via satellite to an accident management centre, the nearest hospital, and the police with visuals of what happened, how, and where. It would also make crash investigations a breeze, compared to the present.

With privacy rights rapidly dissolving under both parties and socialist programs failing left and right, I would fight tooth and nail against this and similar projects until some sort of stability is returned to the country.
Mainly I would be against it because of the privacy issues of having cameras installed in my car that I did not control or install. If they were put in my car it is likely I would; disable them, modify them so I could control them, or ‘low tech' it and prevent them from recording with a black sharpie.
I think the primary reason this is not done or will not be done, in addition to the privacy issues, is the cost. Car accidents happen all the time and only in rare instances do the costs involved get so out of control that such a system would be warranted so to put them in all cars is just not worth the cost especially when the car companies have covered their end with all their safety testing cameras in the cabin serve mainly to cover driver errors not mechanical ones.
