Featuring an array of cuisines from the best area restaurants, “taste of” your city events are enormously popular throughout the country. But why does a good idea need to die when the festival comes to an end? Why not create a “taste of your city” company that offers a unique dinner or lunch delivery from a different area restaurant each month.

Similar to a dessert club, but with a distinct local flair and more novelty, the program could be customized to meet customers’ diverse tastes. Yearly plans (with restaurants and menus set in advance) could include ethnic food, a rich sampling of cuisines, or food from the city’s top rated eateries.

The company could promote itself at taste of city events and through the cooperation of area businesses. Given the customer development opportunities that exist for restaurants, a strong partnership would emerge that would keep costs low. At the same time, consumers would pay a premium for the convenience and novelty of the program.
