Create a website that will give a "scenic" driving route to your desired destination, rather than the fastest, most efficient routes currently given by sites like Google and Mapquest.

I like it too. Users who have been there could contribute landmarks, stories, and attractions to stop and see. Make this available to a GPS-equipped device and you have a nice guided tour.
