This idea is for all the women out there who feel lost when talking about sports with men. Even if you could care less about the sport, there are certain occasions where it would be nice to seem knowledgeable on the topic (ie - when out with a group of men, when out at a sports bar, when picking up men, etc).

I'm suggesting a cheat sheet, per sport, that would basically be a 101 on the rules of the game. It would give anyone who wanted to know more about the sport a chance to quickly learn what it's all about.

The cheat sheet would also have a link to a website that would consist of current events in that sport so you would always be "in the know" as to the goings on. This would be an alternative to fishing through all the lingo on ESPN, Sports Illustrated and the like.

And how about a cheat sheet for men when they are out with woman?

My aunt recently got divorced and she believes learning about sports will be an important ingredient in meeting and interacting with men. She started watching television games to get some insights, but she has a long way to go. I bet she and other women in her shoes would like a product like this.

and as long as it remains a lot of rules and strong guys throwing balls, your knowledge will be nothing more than a novelty.

The common availabilty of those lamenated cheat-sheets for so many topics suggests this would work. A women who shows even that much interest would get an edge, and I love people who put effort into strategy. Guys looking for a "dumb blonde" would want to avoid your customers, maybe, but then everyone might save some time.

Heck my mother-in-law is always asking the same easy questions when she visits, I think maybe a bit of help might make the answers stick.

"A cheat sheet for women and nerdy men." Would make my office-cooler conversations during football season that much less awkward :)

"So what do you think? Wasn't that a BS call?" "Uh, er, well, that is, uh, I concur...?"
