Sally's Apizza for all | |||||||||||||||||
By many accounts, New Haven is the pizza capital of the world, with Sally’s occupying one of the top two ranks. As a Brooklynite who knows pizza, I am convinced that Sally’s is the best. Unfortunately, there’s only one Sally’s in this world. Why not expand this legendary pizza place by opening new locations? Most of the country has never tasted “great” pizza, and the pizza market is huge. If the current owners are not motivated to lead such an effort themselves, I’ll do it!

A great idea; but does the staff at these outposts have to be so surly to maintain the authenticity of the original locale?
Nice
If they could replicate the pizza but NOT the atmosphere, that would be ideal.
While a nice idea in theory, pizza taste (and more specificic dough) is hard to relicate in different cities. Hence why there is no good pizza or Begal in all of Los Angeles. It couild work in NYC or boston but those places have a lot of great home grown pizza places and don't know who Sally is. Could be worth a shot...
Yes, Yes, Yes - we're dying for great pizza here in Atlanta. If you'll go to work for Sally's and learn their trade secrets, I'll back you in some pizza joints "down South"!
I read recently somewhere that the main cause of differences among pizzas is in the water. So Sally's secret may not be anything that could be relocated.
