My car says hello | |||||||||||||||||
How about a way to communicate with other drivers beside giving them the finger? LCD's on the front and back windshields could be made to display simple pre-typed messages at the push of a button and allow you to let other drivers know what you're thinking. "We're having a baby!" would be handy for the policeman behind you to know. "Speed up, bluehair!" could be printed in XL letters, in mirror image, for Granny to check out in the rearview. "Go ahead" is better than waiting for someone at a 4-way stop to figure it out. How about "Here's my number:" or your favorite cheezy pickup line for the hot girl in the convertible?

You might want to package it with good locks and bullet proof glass.
People can barely drive with cellphones...
this reminds me of the seinfeld episode where kramer made everyone wear nametags so they could say hi to each other by name on nyc streets.
I saw something like this in the SkyMall magazine on the plane. It was a license plate frame that displayed 6 digital messages to the people behind you. You could select which message to display as you were driving.
Put electronic sign on rear of car and watch road rage ensue!
wow, not too smart... could you imagine all the people reading messages instead of paying attention to the road... personalized license plates can be bad enough
