Uploading to Ipod in public | |||||||||||||||||
What if music stores also sold songs in MP3 formats which you could immediately upload to your MP3 player? This idea could be expanded to restaurants, airports and other public venues. While I was in India and my laptop was back in New Haven I had this massive urge to listen to “Living on a Prayer” by Bon Jovi and I would have paid a significant premium for this small pleasure!

It would also be great to find a way to share music that artists would agree to. I know the new Zune tried it, but I read it was poorly executed in that there was a time-limit on the sharing. (there are also ways around it on iPod with various software that's out there as well as burning CDs) What would be more agreeable - perhaps a limit to the number of times a song was shared?
