In order to reduce the number of travel documents and to expedite the immigration process involved with international travel, a universal photo identification card that served as a driver's license and/or passport could be created. The card could have a memory device that contained encrypted information that law enforcement officers could instantaneously access in order to verify legal status and/or citizenship. Gone would be the days of multiple documents and worn out passports.
