The wires connecting one's ipod to their earphones are irritating and often get tangled while exercising. In the days of bluetooth technology and nike's ishoes, surely there must be a way to have earphones (small and light enough to run with) that do not require wires connecting to the ipod.

I think thats a great idea and I agree that it should be easy to do. Wonder why that hasn't been done yet.
I agree, I can't imagine why it wouldn't have been done already, perhaps it would add a little size? In my view its well worth it. Great idea.
I was going to post this idea! I struggle with the earphone cords every day. However, the technology needs to improve - if my bluetooth is any indicator of the kind of sound quality trade-off, this innovation is a ways away.
Sorry Charlie, it does exist! But I'm not really sorry because I own these headphones and they are fantastic. Aside from the fact that you have to charge them daily, I'm a big fan.

i would buy it! great idea!
Great idea. Wires get in the way while listening to the ipod while running on a treadmill.
It hasn't been done because you are asking people to keep track of two blips in humanity roughly the size of a pennie. No doubt people would pay $60 + for this item and then have a good chance of losing it. ALSO for this item to be truly portable it would need to have it's own source of energy. Unless you want wires galore from a solar hat to the items, it would be impossible for little ear pieces to remain little and powered for a substantial amount of time. These are the two reasons that wireless ipod earphones have not been created.
