When thinking of what to wear on a cold winter's day, one often faces a dilemma as it is usually freezing outdoors while very warm indoors. The usual advice for this situation is to "wear layers", as it allows for more flexibility to adapt to the change in temperature.

However, "wearing layers" may not be the optimal solution for the fashion-conscious, as multiple layers adds extra bulk. Furthermore, "wearing layers" also adds inconvenience as one has to hold onto the unnecessary layers when indoors.

My solution to this problem is an inflatable/deflatable bubble jacket. When outdoors, the jacket can be inflated to resemble a warm bubble jacket. However, when indoors, the jacket can be deflated so the consumer will not be overly warm. This product will not only tackle the temperature differences, but it will also eliminate the need to wear layers, providing a solution to the fashion-conscious people, and the convenience of not having to hang onto jackets, sweaters, etc.
