Text Menu for Touch-Tone Menu | |||||||||||||||||
With the appropriate hardware, how about including text menus + a screen so that if a touch-tone menu system (aka Interactive Voice Response system) number is dialed, the associated text menu system appears on your phone's screen, before the number is dialed into the phone network? You could then visually navigate all the menu options, back and forth, until you find the desired option thereby minimizing the frustration that many of us have with today's touch-tone menu systems.

You'd probably have to do it out of band (in a portion of the line similar to DSL), unless you want to periondically hear the data packets.
